It’s finally mine! 509 was quickly sold out and some stores didn’t get it so I missed out on it. Then my mom found it at Munich airport before christmas. She tried it and decided that it was more my colour than hers. And that is fine by me 
I also found some NOTD pictures while organising my photoes yesterday, so have 3 new posts coming up this week.
I’m still here and no baby yet… Even if I have lots of time on my hand, I’ve not really been up to blogging much (or anything else for that matter…). I’m sorry for this and hope my readers will not leave me permanently – I will come back stronger!
Over to the polish. A beautiful light violet with green shimmer, could it be any more beautiful than this? It is the perfect colour for spring. It’s from the Electro Candy Collection, that came out summer 09. I know, I know, I’m not really going through my untrieds very fast… Because I have been very strict lately and only worn my untrieds since christmas.
I love the colour and the formula was not all bad, but still had to add 4 coats before I was satisfied. Polish was not runny or anything, just not very colour saturated.
Just wondering, anyone else with a British background (either from there or learned to write the British way) want to write Colour Club? I have to, almost without fail, change when writing the name
Coats: 1 coat OPI Nail Envy, CND Stickey, 4 coats CC UV, 1 coat Nubar Diamont and 2 drops OPI Drip Dry drops.
Light: Daylight, sunlight.
Ahh, duochromes how I love thee. The duochrome in this polish is not the most visible, but the more I looked at it and the pictures the more I have to say it’s a duochrome. As it is neither green nor blue, but a great combination of my two favorite polish colors Any color that looks like it belongs in a peacocks feathers is all right by me!
This is the last of my Sinfuls and so far my favorite to apply. This was not as runny and thin as the others and I found it was easy to apply. A person better at applying could’ve got away with only two coats.
Coats: 1 CND Stickey, 3 coats Sinful Gorgeous, 1 coat Nubar Diamont and 2 drops OPI Drip Dry drops.
Light: Daylight, overcast.
Duochromes rock! This particular one is from OPIs Canadian collection (fall 2004) and is gorgeous. It is a blue/green duo and does live up to its name as water from a glacier is green… In the top photos you see the green, the best picture I could get of the ‘duochromeness’ is the bottom one. I need more practice getting these sort of pictures right.
The polish was ok, a bit runny (as most old OPIs are) and therefore somewhat difficult to work with when you are used to the new more gloopy polishes.
Coats: 2 Orly Armor, 1 CND Stickey, 3 GBB and 1 Nubar Diamont.

All the polishes are from Cherry Culture and was only $2, cheap and cheerful! Have not tried any yet, my untried list has grown lately and have over 30 I still haven’t tried or swatched Will post a list of them later, maybe I have some you want to see?
Peacock Feathers, Diamont tc, Pasadena Purple
Nubar is one of the brands that you can’t get here in Norway where I live. I have been lemming these for so long, so was very happy when I found out that an e-tailer in Denmark sold these, Aromatique.
I am very pleased with the three I got, it might not be that obvious in the picture but Peacock Feathers is a gorgeous purple and green duochrome. I will write a review and a comparison of the tc later this week.
